Gifts of Sight
Our small change is their big change, our trash is their treasure.
Most of the world's 37 million blind people would be able to see again if they had access to eye care services. But what can we do in the U.S.? Through our partnership with New Hope Ministries, we are able to provide brand new eyeglasses for as little as $3 U.S. per pair and perform cataract surgeries for only $26 U.S. per eye.
Imagine being able to see a face for the first time in over fifteen years.

Of his experience among the people of Chillakalu, "I was truly humbled," added Dr. Lech.
Compassion in Action
With more doctors traveling with us to Chillakalu this February, we were able to raise more funds and support for the medical clinic, enabling us to treating over 5,000 patients. We were able to provide the following:
- 2,000 brand new pairs of eyeglasses
- 4,000 pair of ready reading glasses
- 350 cataract surgeries
- Operational expenses for the clinic, including the hiring of 40 technicians and nursing staff, generators, tents and additional support staff and supplies in India
We look forward to our next trip in 2012, and hope to provide even more care for these needy people. Please note that all doctors, staff and team members who traveling with us to India pay for their own expenses. 100% of all donations will go toward the actual medical clinic and are 100% tax deductible.
